How to earn money through blogging

Just recently I discovered that people can and do make money from blogging. Did you guys know that?? Hmm, I wonder if my friends know this. Come to think of it, they probably don't. A lot of my friends have blogs, which they basically use to talk about what goes on in their lives.. day in, day out. Their random thoughts, as they call it. What they ate yesterday, what they're gonna eat tomorrow, their favourite food.. yada, yada, and yada.. As if people care why you had a Big Mac for lunch today instead of a Whopper hamburger. *eye-roll*

But wait! Don't get me wrong.. it's not that I despise those kind of blogs or bloggers or anything, its' just that I think those who have the talent to write shouldn't let it go to waste by talking about, well, basically nothing. I simply marvel at how people can write about something sooo boring in such an interesting way... such that they turned the boring subject into an enjoyable one. I envy you guys..!

So anyway, just a heads up for all you bloggers out there who didn't know that you could actually be making some easy money by just writing about the stuff you love..ain't that cool or what?!

Have no clue what to do now? Don't you worry! I came across a couple of really good websites which I think would definitely be a big help to you (and me!). First and foremost, I would recommend http://www.problogger.net/. It's got all the basic info you need in order to get you started. In short, I would say this website is an eye-opener and you'd wish you had found it sooner!

Another cool website is http://www.blogkits.com which provides bloggers, who are new to the whole idea of 'to blog is to make money', with easy-to-use tools and also lets us advertise our blogs with ads by big-name brands such as Ebay, Travelocity, Paypal and many more. So all we need to worry about is just blogging, and they'll help us with the rest! (P/S: If any of you are already a member, do share with us what it's like). I must admit; it's quite hard to find a website which honestly announces their honesty such as theirs. =)

Okay I guess that's about it for now. I've considered one aspect of making money online tonite. I definitely need to sleep on it. G'nite!

Let's start with..wealth!

Hi all,

Welcome to my blog! =D I do hope you will visit often enough. Coz I have loads of cool stuff in store for you. Really I do. *fingers crossed* ;)

So, anyway, let's get right down to business. Which one do you think is more important to you? Health or wealth?

Tough? Or did you answer that in less than a blink of an eye...?

Hmm...if you ask me, I would say both are equally important, and many other things as well. Heh, sorry I don't think I can ever choose between the two. (And I had to go and add 'many other things as well'). *sheepish grin*

Anyway, since the main reason this blog is created is to discuss just the two, I hope you don't mind if we'll just stick to that. teeheehee...

And in this particular post, I would just like to ask you to open your mind..and think of all the possibilities in the world. If you are like me - a fresh grad, who just started working, but finding your job to be more of an evil scheme to turn you into that 'obedient employee', then we might have something in common. Even if you have not just started working, say, you have been working for a good 5 or even 10 years, we still might have something in common.

Why do I say so? Coz we all work for the sake of money. (That is if your only source of income is the 9-to-5 job that you have). I found this quote by Marian Wright Edelman to be very true:-

"Never work just for money or for power. They won't save your soul or help you sleep at night."

Through my 5 months' experience in the working life, I have found that if I'm not careful enough, I could easily fall into 'the cycle'. The cycle? Aww, c'mon, you don't know the cycle? The 'wake up-go to work-work till late night-come home-sleep-wake up again' cycle? Yeah you know what I'm talking about. *grins*

It sucks doesn't it? Don't get me wrong though. If you don't mind that kind of lifestyle then there's no issue. But if you're stuck in a job that you detest, (not that I feel the same about mine, well, not yet at least) and you're finding it hard to even find time for yourself, let alone your loved ones, then I really feel that it's about time that you do something about it. Don't you think so?

I mean, is this all there is to life? Just work work and work??? And then work again??? I don't think so. So let's do something and make our lives actually worth living. I'll leave you to your thoughts.

Till we meet again, have a good day. =D
